For example, ICH might include the materials required in boatbuilding, the costume worn for a cultural dance, or the fishing structure where a day's catch is cleaned and processed. Because certain customs and traditions require physical objects to execute, ICH can also include the instruments, tools, artifacts and cultural spaces associated with these customs. These non-physical components of any given cultural group are referred to as Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and are closely linked to what makes a specific group of people unique.
